The company has built up considerable capacity, manpower and resources to produce in time the required quantity of good quality seeds. Sahaja has Wide network of seed producers in all the agro climatic zones of India in consisting of 5000 loyal farmers. Sahaja supervises the seed production in great detail by providing up to date crop management methods and training to the farmers. Our network farmers, managers combined with Information Technology network ensures steady supply of our products from different crops. The production is organized in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat and Tamilnadu through its experienced managers and technical staff.

The company also takes up hybrid seed production programmed on contract basis with genuine contract farmers and monitor quality standards through its own staff. Seed processing is taken up soon after seeds are received from production fields to the processing plants. The seeds are processed at 2 different locations. The high-capacity processing units are equipped with modern technologies like flat screen machines, De-stoner, Gravity separators, Needle sorters and seed treatment machines are utilized during processing to ensure clean, uniform and healthy seeds. Quality maintenance is monitored during processing, packing, storage and transportation.

The company has well established godown facility to preserve up to 5000 tons of seed stock. We are also having cold storage facilities to protect the precious material like germplasm of vegetables and other important seed material. The quality control lab carries out the sampling, physical purity, genetic purity, germination vigor, moisture content etc., with the appropriate quality aspects as per the seed standards prescribed by the Govt. of India. The genetic purity of seed is passed by using different techniques such as DNA finger printing.
